Information for Visitors

There are seven different "Virtual Shows" on TheRock.show platform:

TheRock.show is an online rock and gem show with space for an unlimited number of vendors. This Virtual Tucson Experience can be enjoyed from the safety of ones own home. Visit vendors online; browse their inventory any time of the day or night. Join in one-to-one video chats and “live” shows. Participate in conversations about their products. Make purchases directly from the participating vendors. Attend presentations/seminars. Browsing is free.


1. Do I need to register? You don't need to register to browse the show, but you'll need to register in order to communicate with vendors with Live Chat and to be able to receive event notifications. 2. How are my personal details used? Who else gets access to them? How do I unsubscribe? Your registered details will never be shared with any third party. We do not sell or transfer your details to our vendors or to any other third party. We will use your email contact details to alert you to our forthcoming online events; to alert you, during the show, about events that you have registered for; or to notify you about other important events. You may unsubscribe from TheRock.show at any time and your contact details will be removed from our system. 3. How do I navigate the "shows"? TheRock.show is a virtual platform divided into separate shows (TheMineral.show, TheGem.show, etc) displayed as zoomable/clickable circles. Each circle contains other circles, stacked like bubbles, representing either vendor booths or rooms containing another level of vendors. Clicking on any vendor booth brings up the details and products for that vendor. Clicking on a room will bring up the list of vendors in that room. 4. How do I communicate with vendors? Each booth has a live chat area where you can ask questions of the vendor. If they have Zoom or Skype you can request a live video chat. Vendors may also include additional contact information such as email, telephone, WhatsApp, Skype, WeChat, etc. details in their booth details. 5. How do I pay for my items? Vendors conduct sales transactions with customers directly using their existing e-commerce systems or through other agreed payment methods with you (such as PayPal invoice.) TheRock.show is not involved in any way in sales transactions between you and the vendor. The Rock.show does not take a commission from either the vendor or buyer. 6. How do I make sure my transactions with a vendor are secure? For your own protection you must never send credit card details directly over email or messaging services. You should only use secure payment gateways such as PayPal or commercial e-commerce systems for your transactions. Do not send money using PayPal 'Friends and Family', or through wire transfer services such as Western Union, unless you are sure you trust the vendor, and then only at your own risk. 7. What do I do if I have a problem with a purchase? Please try to resolve all issues directly with your vendor. If you are unable to reach a satisfactory conclusion then you can escallate this to your credit card company and/or payment service (e.g. PayPal). TheRock.show is unable to get involved in disputes between customers and vendors, but please let us know if you are not happy with the service from one of our vendors.
